What we hold

Weitude Research, our Threads research tool at weitude.com/research, keeps your Threads access token and user ID only in an encrypted cookie in your own browser, which expires one hour after you sign in. We keep no copy of your token, profile, searches or results on our servers. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

How to delete your data

  1. Sign out on the Weitude Research page, or wait one hour: the cookie that holds your session is then gone.
  2. Remove Weitude Research from your Threads account under Settings, Account, Website permissions. This revokes the access you gave the tool, and Meta notifies us.
  3. For any other request, email contact@weitude.com.
